Thanks to the Rotary Club of Wilsonville Foundation for your grant to the Cypress Branch of Boys & Girls Aid (Charbonneau Auxiliary). Your grant made it possible to provide 30 sports bags to boys, ages 10 to 18 years, in our STEP (Stabilization, Transition, Evaluation Program). Besides the bags themselves, each bag contained a basketball, sweatshirt, two pairs of sports socks, a water bottle, hygiene products, a wallet with a McDonalds gift card, two dozen home baked cookies and so much more. Each bag had a value of between $65 and $70. Along with the normal challenges these youth face every year was the added stress 2020 has brought to bear. Other generous donors to the sports bags were David and Zachery Reiner (brokers for REMAX equity group in Canby) and club members and their friends. Below is a picture of the completed bags and the members who assembled the bags this year.
On behalf of the Charbonneau Cypress Branch of Boys & Girls Aid and the 30 young people who received the sports bags this year, we want to say thank you for your involvement. It truly made a difference in these young lives.
