For months, business owners in the Wilsonville community have waited anxiously to receive the go-ahead from state and county governments to open their doors so they could provide services to the community again, find more stable financial footing and rehire workers.
Many of these businesses got their wish when the state approved phase one of reopening for Clackamas County, which meant that restaurants and bars, fitness centers and personal care services like barbershops and massage parlors were allowed to reopen Saturday, May 23.
Owners of qualifying businesses in Wilsonville are glad to return to somewhat normal operations and are continuing to adjust to new guidelines put forward by the state to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
