Boys & Girls Aid is a local nonprofit organization that helps ensure every child living in foster care has a lifelong connection with a loving adult who will provide guidance, stability, and a safe place to call home. The Cypress Branch Auxiliary is made up of Charbonneau residents primarily who have supported the fundraising for Boys and Girls for over 30 years.
The traditional fundraising dinner — the Crab & Rib Dinner — which was scheduled in March, has been adjusted to an online event in response to COVID-19 to help keep everyone safe and healthy. We are confident that with your support we can still make a difference and raise the funds needed to continue caring for children living in foster care.
Last year, Cypress Auxiliary raised over $100,000 to support the children served by Boys & Girls Aid. Now more than ever, we need to show children living in foster care they are not forgotten, and we will continue to support them during these challenging times.
The good news is this year because we are virtual EVERYONE can bid on the auction items to help Boys & Girls Aid.
We hope you can join us! Contact Megan Bos, Boys & Girls Aid’s Cypress Liaison at mbos@boysandgirlsaid.org if you have questions or need help registering.
