Do you sometimes forget where you put your keys or parked your car or you walk into a room when you got there, can’t remember why you are there? What is happening? Why can’t I remember? Is this just my age or do I have Alzheimer’s?
Past a certain age, these questions become ever more common. What can we do? We can all get better educated and better informed.
The Charbonneau Community Forum has invited experts to share information to help you understand these conditions and diseases.
A representative from the Alzheimer’s Association will discuss:
- Age-related changes in memory
- Signs of Dementia and Alzheimer’s
- Early detection and diagnosis
- Helpful resources
A representative from Springridge will discuss:
- Strains to friends and family
- Types of facilities
- Costs of treatment
Doors open at 6:00 p.m. in the Country Club Dining Room. Join us for wine, beverages and snacks. Speaker presentations start at 6:30. There will be a Question and Answer period following the presentations. For more information or to reserve a table, call Len Zucker at 503-694-5843
