Our offerings this month are pretty sparse, as our renovation winds up, and our Children’s Department has a program hiatus to prepare for the annual Summer Reading onslaught! Please come in and check out the new and improved library, happening not nearly soon enough!
Book Club

The Book Club meets monthly for informal discussion. Join fellow readers for lively and thought-provoking conversation about excellent books. Books to be discussed are available for check out – just ask at the Circulation Desk. This month, we’re reading The Women in the Castle by Jessica Shattuck.
Genealogy Club
Monday, June 18th at 1:00 PM at City Hall (Council Chambers)
Discover new genealogical resources and tools, discuss personal research and goals, and learn from experienced genealogists at monthly meetings. Open to seasoned genealogists as well as beginners.
Great Books Discussion Group
Tuesday, June 19th at 6:00 PM at City Hall (Arrowhead Creek Room)
Interested in philosophy and the big questions of life? Please join us each month for a round table discussion of how modern day issues are reflected and illuminated by the great Western classic books. This month, we’re reading The Overcoat by Nikolai Gogol.
History Pub
June 26th at 6:30 PM at Wilsonville McMenamins’ Old Church
The Wilsonville Public Library Foundation, the Wilsonville/Boones Ferry Historical Society, and McMenamins have teamed up to present monthly programs focusing on Oregon’s rich history. This month we present Quackery: A Brief History of the Worst Ways to Cure Everything with Nate Pederson, author of the eponymous book (available, of course, at the library!) Show up really early for best results.
