Note:
On a strictly non-partisan basis it is vital that we investigate which of the candidates best understands our concerns, and will support our position, on the following issues:
- Land use issues in our neighborhood and the frequent attempts by special interests to (effect) the laws by running to the legislature for support.
- Development and expansion of the Aurora Airport without the public process that should include local governments (Clackamas County & Wilsonville), local communities and stakeholders.
Our current State representative, Bill Kennemer, is retiring.
We are very pleased that the Forum will be run by the League of Women Voters–experts in this type of process.
Please come and ask the tough questions so we can judge which candidate would best represent us.
[/box] Charbonneau residents are invited to attend a non-partisan candidate forum on Thursday, April 26 at 6:30 pm at the Charbonneau Clubhouse.
All candidates running for the open seat have been invited to participate in this House District 39 Candidate Forum.
The League of Women Voters of Clackamas County will be moderating this candidate event. This is not a debate.
Attendees will have an opportunity to have their questions answered by the candidates.
