Volunteer Opportunity: Home Delivered Meals Driver

March 20, 2018 12:26 am Category: Wilsonville & Local Community News A+ / A-

The Community Center is looking for an individual to drive the home delivered meals route in Wilsonville several times per month. This position requires drivers be 21 years of age or older, have the ability to lift several coolers weighing up to 30 lbs each, pass a background check, have a valid Oregon Driver’s License, insurance and a car that can be used for the route, and have the ability to get into and out of the car numerous times.

The route generally takes 1-1.5 hours and requires 3-4 coolers to be able to fit into the driver’s car at one time. This is a very rewarding volunteer position, and could be a wonderful service opportunity for the right person or pair (one person to drive, the other to deliver to the client).

If interested, please contact Nutrition Coordinator, Evie Proctor, at 503-570-1527 or proctor@ci.wilsonville.or.us or visit the Community Center to complete a volunteer application.
