Don’t forget – Due to our renovation, programs this month will be held outside the library in a variety of locations, listed below in bold type! The library will be open normal hours for checkouts and picking up holds.

Wilsonville Library Adult Events

English as a Second Language (ESL) class

Saturdays, February 3rd, 10th, 17th, and 24th at 11:00 AM in the Parks & Recreation Administration Building

Free class in reading and writing English as a Second Language (ESL). Classes will be taught by Jose Solis, a native Spanish speaker, who is fluent in English. Native speakers of all languages and all levels of English competency are welcome to join the class and practice vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking.

Wilsonville Library Book Club

Thursday, February 8th at 6:00 PM in the Community Center (Classrooms 2 & 3)

The Book Club meets monthly for informal discussion. Join fellow readers for lively and thought-provoking conversation about excellent books. Books to be discussed are available for check out – just ask at the Circulation Desk.

Book Notes Concert

Saturday, February 10th at 2:00 PM in the Community Center (Multi-purpose Room)

The Wilsonville Public Library is pleased to present musical performances by local musicians. This concert series is presented by the Wilsonville Friends of the Library.

Free Tax Help at the library!

On Saturdays from 10-3, beginning February 17th, our longtime volunteers Alan and Carole will help you calculate and file your scary federal and state taxes for free. Don’t forget your previous year’s tax forms for best results. First-come, first-served.

Library Closed

Monday, February 19th

The Library will be closed Monday, February 19, in observance of Presidents’ Day. To renew items, select “My Account” on the LINCC website or call our automated phone service at 503-659-8634.

Great Books Discussion Group

Tuesday, February 20th at 6:00 PM in City Hall (Arrowhead Creek Room)

Interested in philosophy and the big questions of life? Please join us each month for a round table discussion of how modern day issues are reflected and illuminated by the great Western classic books.

History Pub @ Wilsonville McMenamins

Tuesday, February 27th at 6:30 PM at the Wilsonville McMenamins’ Old Church

The Wilsonville Public Library Foundation, the Wilsonville/Boones Ferry Historical Society, and McMenamins have teamed up to present monthly programs focusing on Oregon’s rich history.

Play Group

Mondays, February 5th, 12th, and 26th at 10:00 AM at the Community of Hope Church, 27817 SW Stafford Rd,

Drop in during the event and let the kiddos play with a variety of toys, as well as socialize with the under-6 crowd. For children ages birth to 6 with their grownups.

Toddler Time

Tuesdays, February 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th at 10:00 AM at City Hall (Council Chambers)

Join us for an interactive program that includes songs, parachute fun, bubbles, puppets, and stories for our youngest patrons. This program is designed with even the most active toddler in mind!

Baby Time

Tuesdays, February 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th at 11:00 AM at City Hall (Council Chambers)

Moms, Dads, Grandmas and Caregivers join us for songs, rhymes, and special bonding time with your baby.

Stay afterward to play and chat with other caregivers about all things baby!

Family Storytime @ City Hall

Tuesdays, February 6th, 13th, 20th, and 27th at 6:30 PM at City Hall (Council Chambers)

Wednesdays, February 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th at 10:00 AM, again at 11:00 AM, and yet again at 1:00 PM at City Hall (Council Chambers)

Bring the whole family for crowd pleasing good time with books, stories, and songs. The program is intended for all ages.
