Wilsonville Library Adult Events
English as a Second Language (ESL) class
Saturdays, December 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th at 11:00 AM
Free class in reading and writing English as a Second Language (ESL). Classes will be taught by Jose Solis, a native Spanish speaker, who is fluent in English. Native speakers of all languages and all levels of English competency are welcome to join the class and practice vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking.

Curiosity Cafe: Holiday Stories with Ken Iverson

Have a cup of coffee and enjoy monthly talks and workshops on a variety of topics to expand your world. Presented on the third Saturday of each month, this month’s café features Holiday Stories with Ken Iverson! Mr. Iverson will relay a mix of true-life stories, short funny stories, and folktales highlighting the season.

Interested in philosophy and the big questions of life? Please join us each month for a round table discussion of how modern day issues are reflected and illuminated by the great Western classic books. This month’s selection is “The City of God” by St. Augustine.

Construct, create, and imagine with LEGOs. Try our monthly challenge or build whatever you want. LEGO expert David Thornton from Canby Bricks & Minifigs will provide cool tips. One Wednesday each month, 6:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m. in the Oak Room. Free. For children in K – 5th grades.
