We’re kicking off our 2017-2118 luncheon series with a “Hoe Down”! The suggested attire for the day is Western-complete with your denim and diamonds!
We will sashay out to the patio for finger lickin’ goodies while listening to Lonesome Dewey & The Coyotes. We will sing-along to hits we grew up with, including songs form the cowboys of yesteryear.
After chowing down on chuck wagon grub of BBQ Brisket, cole slaw, bean salad and cobbler, we will sit back and enjoy the storytelling cowboy poetry of award winning Tom Swearingen. Please read the September issue of the Villager for more information on this rhyming and storytelling cowboy!
PLEASE don’t forget to pay for your luncheon by Thursday, September 7 in the CCC coatroom.
If you are paying for a guest or another member, PLEASE remember to put her name on your check or envelope. It helps our treasurer, Debbie Bray, from pulling out her hair trying to match the extra money to a mystery person!
? Happy Trails to you, until we meet again! (September 11th) ?
